Experience in Nonprofit Accounting & Leadership

Life Services of Spokane

For approximately ten years, Amanda provided accounting oversight as Life Services expanded from a small residential operation to multiple locations and mobile campus outreach. She established clear tracking across numerous restricted and unrestricted funds, reliable reconciliations, and timely monthly and quarterly board reporting. When she relocated to Florida, established processes gave the internal team a financial foundation it could maintain.

Women’s Workforce Training Foundation & YWCA

Amanda founded and operated the Women’s Workforce Training Foundation, supporting workforce readiness and entrepreneurship for women. She also contributed financial empowerment and career-readiness curriculum to YWCA Hope & Power and shared her foundation’s business plan to help inform the development of the YWCA’s Opportunity Center.

Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium

Amanda rebuilt the museum’s accounting structure and cleaned up records across several restricted and general operating funds. Her work included grant budgeting, program reporting, and direct assistance with financial documentation supporting the museum’s successful 2012 IMLS grant.

NAWBO Inland Northwest

Amanda served for two years as Treasurer of the Inland Northwest chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She implemented QuickBooks and strengthened financial reporting, bringing practical accounting expertise and financial leadership to the membership organization.

  • "She has faithfully compiled our monthly financial statements, which have been turned around very quickly (2-3 days). Her professionalism, technical knowledge, leadership and support of our overall vision and mission have been second to none!"

    Michael D. Drew, CPA
Board Chairman, Life Services of Spokane

  • “Amanda’s business plan was part of the inspiration for what is now the YWCA Opportunity Center.”
